Hi! I updated Easyblog a few days ago, and now I need your help.

1.- When I access a category and shows me subcategories, if I click on any of them, it takes me to a 404 error page. URL like this: http://www.site.com/maincategory/subcategory
I dont know how to fix this.

2.- Right now I have a Superuser (me) and a few test Registered users (with posting permissions). After the update I cant post with those registered users, I tried by changing on ACL to Authors, and still the same error.
"Fatal error: Call to a member function hasCustomFields() on a non-object....."

I cant promote my site if my users cant post.

Thank you.
Hi Alejandro,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I've checked your site and it seems like you have set one category that only super user can access it to create blog post as default category, hence when registered user are trying to open the composer, the composer will not able to load the default category due to lack of permission, hence returning the error. I've change the default category with the one that everyone can use it and the composer is loaded correctly now for all users.

Hey Alejandro,

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

I think it would be better if you can tell me what do I need to check (in order to learn how to solve future problems (or at least try before asking))

Attached files: main1, main2 ( Problems with posting by users (Registered, authors))

Sub1, Sub2, problem with subcategories.

Hi Alejandro,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

Hm, can you check your current default categories from your backend > easyblog > categories and see if the permission is allowed for registered user or not? Refer my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/ZfofqmeciCKQ .

Issues (again): Only superusers can post, registered and/or authors cant because of an error. I want them to post.

I cant access subcategories (i think there is a problem with the path)

Site details provided. Thank you
