I am seeing 2 issues with images.

1. When I insert an image into a post as original size, it is always blurry. It does not appear blurry before I insert it with EasyBlog media manager. I have the "resize original image" option off.

2. I am noticing 6 resized pictures in my easyblog image directories for every picture I upload in a post. This is not good. I have the resize option off so I wouldn't expect it do this. How can I stop this as it is taking up unnecessary space.
Hey there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Can you attach your photo in your next reply so we can better have a look?

Unfortunately that was not possible to turn it off. Regarding this option "Resize Original Image" as you mentioned is actually determines that original images should be resized or not.

So if I upload an image and select "original size" there is no reason to believe the image should be blurry or reduced in quality, correct?

And for the image re-sizing, why would it be making all those files if I am not using them? It seems like necessary space. I can see why if I were inserting the re-sized image but I am not selecting them.

Firstly, please set a domain for your license. We will not provide support for users who doesn't set a domain for their license. Kindly please set the domain at http://stackideas.com/dashboard

It needs to generate these images because they are used within several places:

1. Media manager (We do not want to load the original file when you are viewing items on media manager. If you have 500 images and all 500 are original sizes, have fun waiting for the page to load)

2. When a user tries to select a different size or create a custom size, creating an image on the fly is too heavy and will be slow.

Ok, I have done it.

you can see a slight blurriness in images that are original size when inserted into posts for some reason. They are sharper from original file

Thanks for setting the domain to your license. Now back to your issue. Can you please upload both the original file and the file that is being resized by EasyBlog?
