Hi,

When uninstalling and installing the component several times (as for my other post) i noticed that the easysocial created plugins are not uninstallable by the Joomla plugin manager. Neather they are uninstalled if you remove the component.

hey Jasper,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Do you mean that when you uninstall from backend > extension > manage > select Easysocial plugin > uninstall, it won't get uninstallable ?

Hey Jasper,

Which plugins were you trying to uninstall? Can I try to uninstall the plugin on the site?

Hi,

Yes you may login, credentials are in your system, to check it out. Although it's a live site already (process of migrating from Jomsocial to test out your software as well) you may check.

Hi Jasper,

It seems like the provided joomla credentials does not permit me to access your administrator area,

Warning
You do not have access to the Administrator section of this site.

Please advise.

Hi,

Sorry the admin account was reset while migrating from Jomsocial. Now it works again.
Meantime upgraded to 1.4.2 and it persists.

Hey Jasper,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. I am sorry but it looks like you did not answer my question above. Can you please advise me with the following?

1. Which plugins did you try to uninstall?

2. Can I uninstall the plugin on the site?

1. Hi. When uninstalling the component the easysocial plugins remains installed.

2. Yes, you can. Please put the website offline and uninstall / install (v.1.4.2).

Hey Jasper,

When you uninstall the extension, EasySocial does not remove the plugins automatically. You need to go to the Extensions manager and uninstall the plugin.

Hi,

Oke understood. But what happens is that they are not visible in the "manage extensions", see screenshots in first post.

Looks like there's some issues with the installation of these plugin. They can't be found in the "Manage" section. Will add this into our issue tracker.
