My dashboard is all messed up. It says i need to update from 1.4.1 to 1.4.1 and if you look at the layout, its all aligned in an odd fashion. I also cant get to any of the specific settings within each item. My easysocial toolbar has also now disappeared from top right menu.
Hey Fidel,

I believe the icons are missing because you did a template override for that module? We are now rendering font awesome instead of our own iconset. You need to update your template overrides if you did apply any template overrides

By the way, you should update the title of this post because it's pretty misleading?

Hi Fidel,

I believe it was caused by the cache on your browser and your joomla site. I just checked your easysocial administrator area and everything is load up correctly as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/Ho8tVkNq04fJ .

Regarding on the toolbar not appearing, I will forward the issue to our designer so they can take a closer look on the issue.

Awesomeness, thanks!

As for the toolbar, if you hover in that area it is clearly there but the icons are invisible. I tried raising the z index but they aren't behind anything they are just invisible. I was thinking that maybe the icon color value was somehow set to transparent but that wouldn't have been done on my end.

Thanks.

I somewhat fixed it.

The update changed the way that you call icons and so my custom html for your coms had to be changed. Having said that, I am no longer able to call my custom icons like the feed icon which was replacing the house icon for the default.php file. Is there a way around this?

You need to use the font awesome icons instead. You probably want to call it "fa fa-home" instead? See the available classes here, http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/

That worked beautifully.

I have one other off topic question. I noticed that in the change release you mentioned a fix for JFBconnect showing up in the log in features.

I already have fjbconnect working on my dev environment and was able to get the icons to show up in my login drop down but through JFB settings and not easysocial settings.

Does this fix now allow all the settings to go through my easysocial settings like the way it handles face book?

That fix was actually to address issues with the buttons not appearing on the dialogs I believe.

Hi Jan,

Can you start a new thread and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly?
