Hi Team,

Just upgraded to 1.2.9 in my offline UAT, applied below quick fixes, and found I am now unable to create group from front-end.

QF applied:
/media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/group/type/type.php
/media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/group/type/themes/default/content.php

Please find the Screenshot for your info. It's now nearly showing a blank screen after choosing the new group category. (sites layout and themes all gone)

URL: https://192.168.0.112/main/en/town/groups/steps/1

Please advise if I've missed other quick-fixes. Thanks.

FYI, Same effect when I try to view any existing group category (details) from the backend.

Hi Alex,

Already applied the quick fixes but still doesn't help before I report this issue. I am using String (in language file) as group name, not sure if this caused the issue (but no problem prior to 1.2.9)

I guess my situation a bit different as I don't have such error message; but a nearly blank screen.

Hello Alfred,

The patch on the other thread should fix this issue. If it doesn't please provide us with the back end and FTP access to the site

Thanks Alex and Mark,

Just recheck and find out I've misplaced (typo) for the path of one file. Thanks both.
