Stackideas.com won the best commercial website in JOSCAR!

The recently concluded J and Beyond (JAB) conference saw the exchange of name cards, ideas and most importantly, experiences that lasts a lifetime for over 200 people from almost 40 countries. For us, the conference served a significant milestone to the StackIdeas Team because our website won the award in the Corporate Web Sites category in the JOSCAR or Joomla! Open Source Creative and Artistic Recognition Awards night.

“The J!OSCAR Awards are given to the very best talent in the Joomla community and we are proud to recognize Stackideas.com,” said Victor Drover, who oversaw this year’s J!OSCAR awards and is part of the Joomla Events team. “Without their contribution, Joomla wouldn’t be able to grow like it has.”

Our Joomla blog extension EasyBlog was also nominated under the Commercial Joomla Add-ons category in the JOSCAR. Unfortunately, EasyBlog didn't make the cut to win this award. Well, lets try again in 2013!.

Since we couldn't attend the conference, we asked Kristoffer Sandven of JoomlaBlogger.net to receive the award on behalf of the StackIdeas Team. We would like to thank Kris for this honorable favor!

Check out the list of winners in the other various categories of the JOSCAR at http://jandbeyond.org/news-and-updates/290-2012-j-oscar-winners.html

We are proud of this achievement and certainly looking forward to more greater heights in the Joomla community. And oh, please stay tuned as we update this blog with some pictures of the awards presentation.

Unfortunately I have no way legally to use your application, and I take them in torrents. But I really love them and am happy for you. I wish you victory in the future!

(sorry for google translate)

Hey Mr. D,

No worries mate, EasyBlog is 100% open source but we would like to advise users to be more cautious or run a scan after downloading them from torrent or any download sites.

We recently had a customer who purchased a subscription eventually because their site was hacked every time they restore the site and after some long hours of code / soul searching, we found out that there's some "Hidden" injected codes in the source.

Anyway, we do appreciate your feedback and Thank you for...
