3FOUR50.com Blogs With EasyBlog

Have you ever wondered how EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss or Kometo looks like in your site? Every week we will feature Joomla sites that are powered by our Joomla components. We featured the first website last week and if you missed it, check out WebmaisterPro.com and see how EasyBlog works in it.

This week our featured site is 3FOUR50

3FOUR50 is a social network site where users blog about health, ways to prevent and control chronic diseases and more.

We recently interviewed Barry Flood, the designer for 3FOUR50 and below is the conversation we had:

1. What was your previous blogging tool before EasyBlog?

We did not use any blogging tool before this, EasyBlog was our first.

2. Why did you choose EasyBlog to be used on your site?

EasyBlog can perfectly integrate with all other systems on our web site. Other than third-party integrations, EasyBlog also provide features like RSS feed updates, email notification and other useful features that runs brilliantly well in our site.

3. What do you think about EasyBlog?

EasyBlog is simple to use, easy to install and flawless. To top it all up, I must say the technical support backing from the StackIdeas team was great!

4. Will you recommend EasyBlog to others?

I will definitely recommend EasyBlog to other users who are looking to start a blog in Joomla. We will be using this great tool in other web sites of ours that may require a blogging system.

We are featuring a Joomla website that uses our products each week. Tell us what you think of this week's featured site and leave your comments below. The most meaningful comment will get a FREE Joomla extension (worth 3 months) that the site is currently using.

I thought the site was great. Very easy to navigate, which I am a stickler for. I like how they used JomSocial but did not just keep the default layout, presenting the information such as media and latest events with modules on the front page.

Of course the use of EasyBlog was great as well, but it's hard to mess up a great component like EasyBlog. (I promise I'm not being a kiss ass, I sincerely feel like Stack Ideas makes some of the best extensions for Joomla!) I was glad they went...

Of course the use of EasyBlog was great as well, but it's hard to mess up a great component like EasyBlog. (I promise I'm not being a kiss ass, I sincerely feel like Stack Ideas makes some of the best extensions for Joomla!) I was glad they went minimalistic with it as well keeping the search bar. It's great to see what Joomla! powered sites can do. I have only been using Joomla! for a year now but am so impressed with the community of users/developers and the functionality of the framework.

This really keeps inspiring me to learn more about coding so that I can contribute even more to the community at large. Anyways, great site!
