Hello Darryl,

Ah, yes if you are on Joomla 1.5, you will need to use an older version because the latest versions of EasyBlog is no longer supporting Joomla 1.5. By the way, why don't you upgrade to Joomla 3.x? Joomla 1.5.x has been deprecated for quite some time already.

Hi Nick,

I also need to upgrade to J3 from J1.5 but in order to upgrade easyblog to the J3 version it looks like my quickest route is to convert and ancient MyBlog to EasyBlog on 1.5 first.

I also took a look through the archives and your oldest version do not download - they go to a content page.

Can you please email me a valid 1.5 easyblog installer?

Thanks
JK

Hi Nik,

Someone from StackIdeas (I can't remember offhand) already sent me the 1.5 installer. Worked like a charm. Sorry I didn't post here - I probably responded via email.

Thanks for checking in though. That's great you wanted to make sure the loose ends were wrapped up.

I noticed the 12M+ file size, so I FTP'd it to the tmp/easyblog directory. Now I get other errors.

Hello Scott,

It looks like the installer was including some files which it wasn't to (dirty files from EasyBlog 5) . However the installer should be about 7mb+ and it looks like in your php setup, it's limited to 6mb only. Is it possible for you to increase this value to a larger value?

If you can't, can you provide us with the FTP access so that I can upload the file manually via FTP?

Hello Scott,

Hm, looking at your php info, it's still at 6mb. You can access the php info here, http://site/administrator/index.php?option=com_admin&view=sysinfo
