Why doesn't the text is cut off in the stream?

Why doesn't the text is cut off in the stream? In the settings specified 250 characters.
Hello Valeriy,

May I know the stream item is belong to which app? In some of the apps, there is a setting to control the stream content. Or you can provide us your backend and FTP so we can check on this issue.

I'm sorry, I missed the setting. Please replace the attached files in:
../language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.ini
../media/com_easysocial/apps/user/photos/config/admin.json
../media/com_easysocial/apps/user/photos/photos.php

I've pushed the fix in our repo.

I'm sorry but for now the option is for truncate the text. They won't have read more. I will discuss this with the developers and see how it goes.
