I am not sure how this is supposed to work. I saw that no one on my site so far has recieved any points for the rule "Read Article" so I tested by going to an article on my website whilst logged in and I stayed on that page for around 15 minutes (and also made sure I scrolled all the way down to the end), yet when I check my points history I don't see the points being awarded.
Hello Andrew,

May I know which point you are referring to? AUP or EasySocial Point. If Easysocial points, Easyblog will only assign point if the viewer is viewing another person's blog post. Perhaps, you can provide us your backend and FTP so we can have a better look.

Er, what are AUP? I have EasySocial installed and it's the points in that system I'm refering to (I had a quick look through your documentation and don't see any mention of "AUP"?)

Secondly the rule is marked as belonging the the extension "Joomla article" (com_content) so I was assuming it would work for when people read Joomla articles (I don't yet have EasyBlog installed on the site) but are you saying that's not the case?

Anyway I have supplied the site details (assuming only you guys can see that bit!)

Hello Andrew,

I believe my colleague was under the impression that you were referring to EasyBlog's integrations with AUP and EasySocial points. AUP is Alpha User Points. Anyway, the reason that no points are being logged is most likely because you did not install the content plugin http://stackideas.com/apps/item/8-articles . This article is needed to generate these points

Ah yes thanks, I do find that sometimes for some reason when I'm creating a question in EasySocial it's actually in EasyBlog, not sure why!

And thanks for the link for the plugin. I'd assumed that as the rule already existed the plug must be all installed and set up, but after installing it I see it now does add the points.

As a follow on though, I left the plugin with default values to start with and see I then get a box with lots of string names rather than actual text (see screen shot.)

Hello Andrew,

Seems like the language string is missing. Can you provide us your FTP access so we can check on this issue? Please advise.
