What's with all the .js and .json files?

I'm sure these files are necessary for Komento, but it strikes me as odd that there's so darn many of these files...it seems like hundreds if not many dozens.

The files I'm referring to are of the form:

/media/com_komento/config/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.js and .json

Can these be deleted? Cleaned-up?

BTW - I cam across these because they show up as "suspect content" using the myjoomla.com security scan service.

Yes, that was needed. All the script is generate to .js and .json file.

However you can clean it up temporary all the .js and .json file as you mentioned that file location.
