Welcome Emails to Newly Registered Users

I cant check the email features in EasySocial from my localhost yet. But I am wondering, is there a way to send a welcome email for all new users? I mean apart from the usual registration emails they receive, a separate welcome email from admin to users automatically sent when someone registers? Is that possible or do I need to use something like a newsletter component for it.

We don't actually have this functionality. The only email that the user gets is when they register on the site. You can either include your welcome message in that email or use a separate extension to generate welcome emails.

Thanks for that Mark. Then I will look for this feature in a newsletter extension. I think some of this have this feature and I'll see if it works with ES.
