We did not realize that when a person selects View Full Profile they are shown the day month and year of birth. We tried to set this so that the year would not display by default. But, it appears to be displaying. Is this something that we configured wrong?
In Profile Types under Custom Field for Birth year privacy we set it to Allow year privacy under the Basic tab.
We set Show age in profile to NO in the View tab.
In Advanced we have Privacy set to Yes.
We want to make sure that by default nobodies birth year is displayed to anybody unless they specifically want to turn it on!
I am wondering if the only way to turn this off is to set the value "Required" to NO in the Core tab?
