Have followed tutorial docs and all seems good ..... till I click on Sign in with LI or FB. See screenshot

http://screencast.com/t/93DNtIp1LSEy

and I end up at my website rather than my personal login. See screenshot

Can't seem to be able to log in to authorise the autoposting. Thanks.
Hey Doug,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a public holiday for most of us here in Malaysia. Are you on the latest version of EasyBlog 5.0.16? We have already addressed this on the latest version for Joomla 2.5.x.

If you are already on the latest version and still hit this issue, please provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site

HI guys

Using 5.0.17. Have sorted the LI autoposting, but still not moving forward with FB. After setting up FB and after cut and paste into Blog Applications Settings, it goes to FB login page. Fine. Then after clicking on Access I end up with this error.

"Not Acceptable!

An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security"

Thanks.

Hi Doug,

The error is actually caused by the present of mod_security of your server. You need to consult with your webhosting service provider and ask them to turn off mod security for your site. You can refer to the following url for more information about mod_security issue, http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=512056.0 .

Hope these help.

Thanks Ezrul

Am using HostGator, and have now disabled Mod Security for our site via their Security Panel.
Cleared cache, restarted Firefox and come back to Easy Blog to again activate autoposting for FB.
However still getting the same error after clicking on Log In to my FB account.

Hey Doug Cary,

That was strange, if completely disabled Mod security from your server, you shouldn't get this error.

*Can you put the Joomla backend and Cpanel access in the optional information field below(SITE DETAILS). Don't worry about privacy. Only Support team can view the information.

Hey Doug,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. The login credentials which you have provided isn't working but are you still getting the same errors? If you are, it is definitely mod_security acting up and we can't really do anything here on our part because before the script get's called, mod_security (web server layer) is already preventing the request

Hi Mark

Please confirm which of the log on details aren't working so I can provide. Hostgator or Joomla?

Have attached screen shot of what I have done with Hostgator in regards to disabling Mod Security.

http://screencast.com/t/Q1fzQWBnC0M.

Please advise if this truely means it is deactivated.

Thanks. Doug

Hey Doug,

The site's login access isn't working By the way, if you look at the error message that you posted earlier,

Not Acceptable!

An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. <b>This error was generated by Mod_Security</b>.

Take a look at the bolded part. It's pretty clear that the error is being thrown from mod_security. I believe you should / need to contact your web host to look into this. If the option has already been disabled via cpanel, then this error message shouldn't be shown at all.
