On the video page the initial image (pre play) for the video is randomly not displaying for some videos. Then if you reload the page some of those videos then do show the initial image, while others do not. When I publish the video module to another page, the same behavior is occurring. From my error_log this may be related:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method SocialForm::getAlias() in /home/site/public_html/components/com_easysocial/views/videos/view.html.php on line 81
Hey Paul,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Having exact same error. Worked yesterday - error today. There is no followup info here so can't see how it was fixed.

Paul do you recall what the problem was?

thanks,

Bridgette

wow almost a year ago. Sorry bridgette, I really don't recall. I went through old email to see if I could find anything from Mark or SI but there was nothing.

Hi bridgette Patrov,

Perhaps you can create a new ticket for this and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP login credential in the Site Details section or you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies.
We will assist you accordingly

@Paul - Thanks anyway. I appreciate your trying.

@Muhammad Fadhli - We don't give outside access to our production machine. It's a bad practice. That was why I asked Paul.

Thanks,

Bridgette

Hey Bridgette,

Perhaps you can setup a test site so we can check on this issue. Because that was really hard to us to troubleshoot this issue without access your site.

It doesn't happen on test site.

Really, I wasn't asking for official support with this post. I was asking a fellow community member how he solved the same issue.

Thanks anyway,

Bridgette
