hello again!

I'm wondering how to remove the id number from this url: profile/721-username

actually it was just for super admin.. *eye rolls* i checked his Profile Permalink: and clicked saved and the magic little number in front went away, odd it was already set, but seemed it needed a manual check oh well sorted now

Hello Jeff,

Unfortunately right now it is not possible to remove the "id" from the user's permalink

HI, is there any progress on this issue? Has it been implemented since then? I would also like to have this option as the url does not look good with and id in front...

Currently to remove the id from the url, you would require the url shortener plugin from https://stackideas.com/apps/item/3338-url-shortener
