Our site wide setting for the particular user group that submits blog posts is set to allow 'edit own' . However, we have one user who cannot edit his own blog post. Now he can only publish or delete, whereas previously he could edit his posts without issue. I checked the back end ACL settings for this user group and nothing seems out of the ordinary/changed.
Hi Simon Waller,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

One more thing, may I know which user that hit this issue? maybe you can give me the login credential for this user so we can replicate this issue on your site?
Another thing, can I have a permission to update your EasyBlog seems like you are using the older version of it?

Hi again,

Unfortunately, Justen is still having the same persisting problem with the particular blog post 'Head for the Cloud' - as the attached image shows the edit function does not appear. I wonder if his computer specs might have some compatibility issues with EasyBlog.

OS=Windows 10
Browser= Chrome Version 50.0.2661.102 m

I've inspected that you did not approve the post that are still in the pending for approval (please refer this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/ffUffckM ),and I've approved the post. Can you try it again is the edit buton still disappear? because the login credentail for Justen is not working now

That's an old iteration of the post from April 11. I intentionally did not publish that as Justen had a newer iteration for that blog post. Since that time, I had changed the settings for blog authors to automatically publish without admin approval. So, this is actually not the issue at hand.

Hi Simon,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. Even though you have already changed the setting for the user can automatically publish their post,
but the post that the previously edited not yet approved by admin (where at the time it still using the old setting) so it will stored as pending. So that the user still cannot edit the post.
May you provide me the login credential for this user again so we can replicate this issue is still persist on your site?

Good morning, Fadhi.

Thanks for you patience regarding this matter! And thank you for the added clarification on the old blog post setting. I've checked in with Justen and the post now displays the Edit function and seems to work just fine.

Cheers!
