Hi

I wonder if you have consider as dev tool js to use angular.js? It progressing very fast and seems to have very much backup https://material.angularjs.org/#/

What you think? It can be used a lot for EasySocial I can guess and would be nice to have in Joomla core too
Hello,

To be frank with you, I really don't think angular.js is suitable for a Joomla site and it isn't ready yet for most web developers / agencies out there. Take EasySocial for example, when we first launched it, it rides on the Javascript MVC framework and till today, not many developers really understand or know how to actually use it.

Another great example is the LESS framework which is widely used right now. Many web developers these days are still unaware or will not be bothered about such frameworks. When they look at the less files on our extensions, they have no clue what they are dealing with and this often leads to support tickets

Implementing a robust and agile framework is a cool idea but in my opinion, it might not be ready yet for the masses.

Yeah, everyone has a different opinion / take on this but we already jumped on the javascript mvc wagon ages ago and we know how painful it is dealing with this. Especially when customers don't have any idea what javascript mvc is
