Urls for tags pages

HI!
I installed sh404sef and now tags pages have urls like:

site.com/easyblog/tegi/teg/free-on-itunes

1. How to remove easyblog word
2. How to remove tegi word

I need a short and understandable links like

site.com/tag/free-on-itunes

Hello Romagromov,

On that page there is no any easyblog page or component displayed, thus joomla does not know how to call the easyblog router file and called the router function. So what I did is I put the code where the module will call the easyblog router file hence it will be displayed properly.

For your latest blog entries, it actually inherit the router from tag cloud module and that is why when one module is calling the router file in one page, it will affecting other modules too. By the way just to be safe, I've applied all the fix inside your easyblog module

The /easyblog/ word is from your menu alias. As for the /tegi/ option, you can't remove this.

I don't have any menu item with easyblog alias...

Also I want to note - /easyblog/ prefix displays only if sh404sef enabled

Hello Romagromov,

The easyblog alias only appear when you dont have any easyblog frontpage menu item on your site, thus it will fall back with the alias "Easyblog". Try to create one menu item (hidden) for easyblog frontpage layout and set the easyblog SEO setting to pointing the menu item.

Have you set the easyblog SEO setting to "default" or follow the menu item id of your easyblog frontpage menu item from backend > easyblog > settings > seo > advanced settings? http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-04-02_1832.png

Perhaps you can provide us with Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly.

Ok, lets forget about sh404sef - I uninstalled it.
Now I use native joomla sef.

I checked site with crawler and found duplicates tags pages .

/?view=tags&layout=tag&id=5
and same page
/tags/tag/ios8

What is /?view=tags&layout=tag&id=5 ???
How to remove this duplicate pages?

That was strange, If you are using Joomla SEF, the Google shouldn't detect the non-sef URL, can you provide us with your following details?
#1. Joomla backend access
#2. FTP access
#3. Google show you that duplicate tags pages result

please advise.

I found something.
Tags module displays links fine - /tags/tag/ios8

But if user on any user page (login, password)

/component/users/?view=remind

all links from tags module looks like

/?view=tags&layout=tag&id=5

Also, if I create hidden menu item - Tags Layout
All links from tags module opens 404 page

Ok, problem only on user component pages.

Tags urls have links like /?view=tags&layout=tag&id=5

Latest blogs have links like /obzory?view=entry&id=11

I've applied the fix inside your /modules/mod_easyblogtagcloud/mod_easyblogcloud.php and it should working correctly now when you access /component/users/?view=remind on your website url. Can you verify it for me?

Did you fix latest blogs entries?

It seems links now displays ok - /obzory/slukhi-ipad-12-dyujmov
but yesterday links looks as /obzory?view=entry&id=12
