Hi,

We have recorded a couple of .mov files on the iPhone and they play fine but when we upload them to easyblog they have a zero length, so when we try to view them we get an error - Video not found or access denied when trying on the laptop and The video could not be loaded...

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks
Carly
Hello Carly,

Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here? Because I have tested uploading a MOV video and it is working. Please advise.

Hello Carly,

Thanks for the access. But can you give us full access to your site: http://screencast.com/t/AattoRhpVj . By the way, it is advisable to not include the site details in your reply form. Please add in in Site Details below the reply form instead.

Hi Nik,

Thanks for the fix, the videos now load fine from iPhone/iPad. It seems to play fine the first time you play it, but when you play it again it seems to pause and you have to keep clicking play to move through the video.

Also, we have uploaded a video (RS 29/10) which was recorded in portrait mode and when we play it on the iPhone it's great, but on the laptop it plays only very small in the top left corner of the player.

You help is really appreciated
Thanks

Carly

Hi,

Thank you for all your help on this. The site you fixed this on was our test site so we need to replicate what you did on another site. You mentioned above that this fix will be in the next release - has this been done yet so all I need to do is update EasyBlog or will you need to apply this fix to the site I am working on now? Or could you document what you did change.

I noticed that JW Player was also updated above - did this fix the issue solely or were other things done as well??

Many thanks, Carly
