So I want to help out with the new blog but I want to make sure I am doing it right. Is there any instructions or info you can pass along on how to update EasyBlog 4 to the new Beta 5?
So I decided to go ahead and take the chance the install would be a simple matter of overwriting the old blog and it failed. All the areas of the admin work fine except when you try and go into EasyBlog component. When you click the component link you are greeted with a white page and a few links with my avatar. On the frontend all that is left of the blog is my avatar and bio and all the blog posts have been deleted.

Not sure if you want to take a look at this or not before I restore it but let me know if you do. It is not an important blog so I will leave it as is and wait for your reply.

Hello Kevin,

I'm sorry but you can report Easyblog 5 bugs in our issue tracker here: http://stackideas.com/issues/easyblog . Provide your backend and FTP access so that our developer will be able to troubleshoot your site.

Thanks Nik, on my way there now...

Jeff, the idea was not to install this on a live site but to help support the development. They said they needed people to help with the installer so I went ahead and did it to this blog to help test.
