Hello,

I recently updated to the latest easyblog version and now have same issue I had in beginning and not sure which files need to be restored from the backup. Basically, now when blogs are posted the blog image is cutoff. You all did something on your end which allowed full image to be shown for all blogs. I'm guessing its a php file but not sure which one.

Thnx n advance
Hello Dezmond,

I am unable to access your FTP due to incorrect access that you have provided. Can you try to place the following css code inside your /templates/system/css/general.css or /templates/system/css/custom.css and see how it goes?
#ezblog-body .blog-text img, #ezblog-body .blog-content img {
width: 100%;
}

Hello Dezmond,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I am sorry but we don't really remember what changes that we have provided you as we provide tons of customization requests on a daily basis. The theme that you used is meant to crop the image so that it fits nicely into the blog image area. If you do not wish to be cropped, you should use a different theme instead.

Or if you can just tell me which file is responsible for loading frontpage images that should help me restore correct file to get your team custom tweak back

thanks so much,

Hello Dezmond,

Please check your frontpage, I had change it to resize within in backend > easyblog > themes > blog image tab
I hope that's what it was before.

Thanks:)

Hello Dezmond,,

Yes, that is all that i did to change the frontpage blog image, you would have to press the clear image button on the top to clear the cache to change the display of your previous post.
I'm glad that your issue is solved If you have any problems please don't hesitate to ask us.

Thanks!

Hello,

I have upgraded to the latest version of easyblog and lost my custom edit again where the blog image takes up the whole section width. Can you tell me where I need to go to make the image stretch fully in width? Cant remember if its frontpage php page or css styling

Thanks so much

Hi Dezmond,

Since this post thread already passed long time ago, can you try what my colleague did for you last time and see how it goes?
Yes, that is all that i did to change the frontpage blog image, you would have to press the clear image button on the top to clear the cache to change the display of your previous post.

If still cant, can you provide us with your Joomla backend, FTP access and some of the screenshot which are you referring to so that we can help you check on this?

Thanks so much Ezrul, applied that code to the general css file and now the images are working correctly now. Any idea on why its not applying the vintage css code. That same code is in the vintage theme css file.....?

Thanks so much again, I will try and remember this as I'm guessing it will happen each time I upgrade
