I think something went wrong with my upgrade. Actually it seems like something goes wrong every time I upgrade so I would sure like to know the best way to upgrade to reduce these problems!

I just upgraded to EasySocial v1.3.20

Right now if I login and try to add a post in the Share Whats New field I get a yellow warning message that that post was not made.
For anyone that has the same issue, this is the file that was fixed. Replace it in ../components/com_easysocial/controllers/story.php

Hello Sean,

Hm, I have just tried to access your site and tried to post a new status update on the site and it seems to be working fine for me, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-03-04_0229.png . Could it be your browser caching the older javascripts?

Mark,

I think the difference between your test and my test is that you were posting a message onto your own wall. I was trying to post onto the wall of a new users to welcome them to the community. Can you please try the same? Post a status onto my wall and see if it will let you.

I just tried again as a regular user and as a super user. I am not able to post onto the status of another user to welcome them in.

I am able to post onto my own wall, as in the example image you provided.

Thanks,

This post can be answered by anybody besides Mark if it is after hours but there is still somebody there. I would like my users to be able to post status messages on each others walls. :-)

Please let me know if you find that I did something wrong here.
