upgrade issue

Sorry for the long post here, I had some struggles today and wanted to keep all this info in context:

I was struggling with issues where users were posting and getting error messages:

I searched the forums and found a few solutions that did not appear to be applicable to my installation. I also saw one post where support asked them to upgrade their version. I decided to pursue that option.
I read on this forum that you just download the latest Komenta and install it using Extension Manager. But when trying to install com_komento_pro_2.0.2.zip I got the following message:

Fatal error: Class 'KomentoJson' not found in /home/landfx/secure_html/tmp/install_55df690edf7b9/admin/install.default.php on line 718

Now Komento is not available from the Components drop down menu.
In Extension Manager > Manage it shows Komento installed, component is latest version, and all are enabled, but not working.

I tried installing it again and this time it worked. I got the message that I needed to upgrade the komento database. That worked but now I'm back to a previous issue where the login button isn't working. If I login to our EasyDiscuss forum I can post on Komento but the Komento login function isn't operational.

Unfortunately I cannot provide backend access.

Last time Mark helped me with this specific issue it was due to our joomla router settings, but I don't know what that setting was. He changed the url that the submit button went to (?) but I don't have that info handy.
