Hello,
I did an update test from EasyBlog 3.9 to version 5 and the result is simply catastrophic, no more css rules are take into account and I lost a lot of settings.
I did the test locally, I'll try it on my other test site on the remote server, I don’t think it will change something, but before performing this update I wanted to know if there were specific options to activate in order to not lose all my settings.

I made a lot of changes in the old version of EasyBlog, it’s clear that if again I had to make updates in my css files in order to obtain the same display result as in the previous version I will not make this update, …it’s also clear that I will stop paying the annual subscription of your component. Sorry for that.

Thank you
Hi Lorenzo,

Regarding your issue, may i know what are the settings that is lost? If i recall correctly, most of the settings in EB 3.9.x still available in EB 5.0.x and only few settings are removed in EB 5.0.x

Also, we've revamped the html structure in EB 5.0.x cos your customisation for EB 3.9.x might not work correctly in EB 5.0.x. You might need to rework on your customisation in EB 5.0.x

Hope this help and have a nice day!
Sam

Hello,
sorry for the late reply, I was traveling...
I solved my problem by upgrading EasyBlog directly on the remote server, some small issues was still present but nothing serious, now it seems that all is ok… I don't know why on the local version no css rules was taken into account thank you anyway…
