Hello support,

We´re updating http://www.saferain.com from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5. At the moment we have migrated successfully all the contents from EasyBlog in spanish but we have the following questions about the other languages managed with Joomfish:

1.- Is there anyway to migrate EasyBlog multilanguage contents from 1.5 to 2.5 using Joomla Core in 2.5?
2.- Is there anyway to migrate EasyBlog multilanguage contents from 1.5 to 2.5 using Falang Extension in 2.5?
3.- Which one of these options (Joomla Core or Falang) do you recomment for using with EasyBlog?

Thanks very much for your help and I´ll be waitting your reply.
Regards,
Miguel A.Velasco
Hello Miguel,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Please find the response to your inquiries below:

1.- Is there anyway to migrate EasyBlog multilanguage contents from 1.5 to 2.5 using Joomla Core in 2.5?

Not sure if I understand you here but it's about copying the old data from your site to your new site actually.

2.- Is there anyway to migrate EasyBlog multilanguage contents from 1.5 to 2.5 using Falang Extension in 2.5?

To be honest with you, we have never tried Falang so I am not really sure if there's any Falang extension for EasyBlog?

3.- Which one of these options (Joomla Core or Falang) do you recomment for using with EasyBlog?

Currently we only support multi lingual solutions from Joomla's core so I would strongly urge you to use this instead

Hello Miguel,

Hm, I think this extension was developed by Falang themselves because if I recall correctly, we didn't built any Falang extensions.
