Hi,

When a comment is added, this generates in jomsocial a feed entry in the wall with the text of that comment. But then if a member see errors on his comment and update the comment, fixing it, the wall entry of that comment is not updated showing the old text. And my members are just complaining about that, because they don't want to see their mistakes propagated into the site after they are fixed.

So is it possible that after a comment is updated, the text of the wall entry is also updated with the new text?

I think that this is not dificult to acomplish. Just call the table community_activities that holds all feed entries, search for the ones with "komento" on the app field, filter it with the comment ID, and then update the field content with the new updated text.

Hope you implement that.

Thanks
Thanks for the heads up on this. We will see if we can improve this in the future

Please do... this is important... my members complain about this, and it's not just the spelling that they fix on their comments that are not updated, but more crital information. People sometime say things they don't want to say, and after editing the comment to revert back, they realize that the feed was not updated and that all members are reading what they don't want people to read.

Any ETA for this fix?

Thanks
