I would love to have my EasyBlog upgraded to version 5 soon but no real hurry if you are swamped. I tried to update one of my other sites to EasyBlog 5 but did not have success and so have been fearful to try again. I would like to upgrade my EasyBlog at https://www.starch-smart.com/blog

This site also has EasySocial at https://www.starch-smart.com/social

It also has EasyDiscuss at https://www.starch-smart.com/discuss

I also have a lot of StackIdeas modules on the homepage at https://www.starch-smart.com including the module to display the most recent blogs.
BTW, I am assuming you would set it up to use your new Editor. Currently I use JCE and am assuming I could go back to that if I wanted to. But, I really want to try your editor for the blogging and see how it works. After this I do have another site I need to update as well but am much more hesitant there because my editors are not real technical and are very comfortable with JCE. They are not as likely to like change. So, I have to show them what you do here to sell them on it.

Thank you so much. It worked just fine. I am now playing with the EasyBlog Editor to see if I want to use it instead of the JCE Editor. I did discover that the module I had to display Recent Blog Posts on the home page is gone. I am assuming that maybe your installer removed all modules that would no longer work. So, now I will go to downloads area and see if I can find a module to do the same thing. It was in the grid13 position.

All in all, I thank you! :-) I will want to update my other site this evening to use the latest EasyBlog.

I am wondering though where the Blog Image is selected. Previously there was a field called Blog Image. Perhaps I am having problems because I am still using the JCE Editor. Or, maybe there is no need for just ONE blog image now?

The modules are already installed by default when I upgraded for you You just need to go to your module manager and click on the "New" button

As for the blog image, it is now called "Post Covers". You can find it at the toolbar at the top of the composer
