Hi
I have seen to have an old version of EasyBlog ( 3.9.24862) , and my API key seems to not been valid (even after regenereting it).
Maybe I need to renew my maintanance contract, how can I do it ? and how much it cost?

I have Joomla 2.5 , is the last Easyblog version good for Joomla 2.5?

Thank you
Giulia
Hello Giulia,

Regarding your issue, I've check your EasyBlog subscription and your license is still valid thus you do not need another subscription unless you are installing EasyBlog on another site

Anyway, regarding your issue, can you send us your Joomla backend admin access and your FTP account so that we can upgrade your EasyBlog for you?

Please advise.

Hi Giulia,

Without the access to your site, I cant really tell whats causing your issue with the installation

Or, try to download the EasyBlog 5.0 full installer from our website and during the installation, choose the option 'Installation via Directory' and select the EasyBlog 5.0.22 from the list. Please see attached image.

It is strange as I have the same issue on my local copy : it seems that the API kew is not accepted.
Also when I click on the link in message:
Starting upgrade process ...
Downloading patch files ...
Updating Foundry Framework
Error Please enter the correct API key. You may generate it from http://stackideas.com/account/my-account.html ...

I get this error page:
Error Encountered

We're sorry, but the system hit some errors when processing your request.

Report this Error to us or go back to the previous page

View not found [name, type, prefix]: account, html, accountsView

If I proceed with full installation I will loose any customization?

Hello Giulia,

May i know are you upgrading using EasyBlog 3.9 auto updater or you actually uploaded EasyBlog 5.0 launcher installer? If you are using EasyBlog 3.9 auto updater, then you will hit the above issue where it say API key not match.

You will need to download EasyBlog 5.0 launcher installer, or EasyBlog 5.0 full installer.

>> If I proceed with full installation I will loose any customization?

If you've customise your EasyBlog 3.9, then upgrading EasyBlog 5.0 will actually overwrite all your changes irregardless you are using launcher installer or full installer .

Hope this help and have a nice day!
