I logged into the back end, saw the notification to update. I clicked on update now, put in my API at the prompt, completed the update, purged the cache and the installed version remained the same - 4.0.8 to 4.0.8 and a message: Installed version is outdated!

I had a similar issue with a client's Easyblog site recently and was sent an email to add the API key on the back end in Easyblog, not during the update process, but was unable to find a similar location to do so with EasyDiscuss.
