Unwanted URL's EasyBlog

Every post I make, creates an extra URL containing easyblog, eg SiteSuccess.nl/Blog/hoog-ranken-in-google with extra URL SiteSuccess.nl/Easyblog/hoog-ranken-in-google. Of course I redirect those EasyBlog URLs, but I rather delete them all and make sure that they are not created automatically anymore.
How/where can i do that?

Important: just advise, do not do anything in the CMS

Correct me if I am wrong here, do you mean you want completely delete the ../Easyblog/.. in the link? If yes, it is not possible, because any links of blog post will be appends to menu item.

That is not what I mean. EasyBlog creates 2 URL's, one with Blog in it (wich is correct and should remain) and an extra with Easyblog in it. So 2 URL's for the same content. This is duplicate content, wich is not good for Google.
Please advise.

Hey there,

Can I have the permission to clear all of your Sh404sef SEF URL from your backend ? Because I believe it cache your previous menu item `Easyblog` in Sh404sef extension.

Also when you create a new blog on your site, it will regenerate another `/Easyblog/TitleName` post URL as well?

Hai Arlex,

I rather do SH404SEF myself. Clearing cache in SH404SEF more or less solves the problem. But still with every new post another easyblog/ URL is created...Why?

Hello Maurice,

If SH404 is unable to get the menu alias of the blog menu item for whatever reasons, it will fall back to the language string, COM_EASYBLOG_SH404_DEFAULT_ALIAS . Perhaps you could try to change / override this language string.
