I'm unable to save settings with Easy Discuss. I found a similar discussion on this forum and the staff recommended uploading a "settings.php" file. Can I use this same file to resolve this issue?

Also, I continue to receive an error whenever a user selects a category. The error states:

Warning
JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 835

User 835 does not exist. How can I get rid of the error? Please see image attached.
Hey Edmund,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. It looks like you are using an older version of EasyDiscuss 3.x which does not support Joomla 3.5.x. Is it possible for you to upgrade to EasyDiscuss 4.x? This will resolve issues that you are facing here.

Hi Mark. Thanks for the reply, but when I downloaded and installed the new version, I received more error messages.

Unknown column 'a.cluster_id' in 'where clause' SQL=select count(1) from `#__discuss_thread` as a where a.`published` = '1' and a.`cluster_id` = '0' and a.`category_id` in (1)

PLEASE HELP!

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

May i know did you have install any RC/beta version in your site before?

By the way, I have run following SQL queries, it should work fine now.

ALTER TABLE `jos_discuss_posts` ADD COLUMN `cluster_id` INT(11) NOT NULL default 0;
ALTER TABLE `jos_discuss_posts` ADD COLUMN `cluster_type` VARCHAR(255) NULL;
ALTER TABLE `jos_discuss_thread` ADD COLUMN `cluster_id` INT(11) NOT NULL default 0;
ALTER TABLE `jos_discuss_thread` ADD COLUMN `cluster_type` VARCHAR(255) NULL;

Hi Arlex,

Yes. I installed the beta version a long time ago. When I realized that it was ineffective, I reverted back to the stable version. Thank you so much for fixing my forum page!
