I have the latest version of Easyblog on a website. When a blogger goes to load a blog image you get "Getting file list from server..." in the dialogue window and you can not upload an image for your blog

The blogger can upload an use images in the blog content. We are using JCE editor and can upload images etc.. but they can not load a blog image.

There is a "blogger" user group and the persons trying to do this are in that group.

live site field in the config is empty. Is this an ACL issue?

The designated folders are on the server with 644 unix rights.

Hello Bob,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Can you provide us with backend access and ftp access to your site so that we can check this issue. There can be several reason why you cannot upload to blog image; "Getting file list from server..." . So we need your site to further inspect and debug this issue on your site.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Hello Bob,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have put a fix in your site and I have create a blogpost with a blog image successfully. The reason why you're hitting this issue is because your site have installed Admin Tools. You need to add exception for EasyBlog in Admin Tools; Web Application Firewall. I have helped you put this exception and now your site is working correctly. Can you verify this for me is this issue is resolved?

Please be advise.
Thanks.

hello Chantal Schlatter,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
Unfortunately regarding Easyblog comment section will not allow user to upload the image file, unless you put the image link in that particular field. Or you can using Komento replace with Easyblog comment section so that you can attach the file in the comment section. Hope this help.
