I upgraded a working system to Easyblog 5, and now Twitter remote tweets have stopped working.
Hello Martin,

Can you please provide us with the FTP access to the site so that I can troubleshoot this issue for you? Also, the Joomla access which you have provided isn't working as well

FTP is not enabled on the server

SFTP on port 22 is enabled and works with the supplied username and password.

I have also corrected Joomla access

Hi Martin,

Sorry for late reply to this,

May i know do you have configure cronjob in your site yet? Because when I manually run the cron command URL ( http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron&debug=1 ) from browser, it will retrieve the tweet and publish in your Easyblog page.

// 2 Tweet imported
{"emails":{"status":200,"type":"info","message":"There are no pending emails that needs to be dispatched currently."},"email_import":{"status":200,"type":"info","message":"No emails found in mailbox. Skipping this."},"twitter_import":{"status":200,"type":"success","message":"2 tweets retrieved from twitter"},"scheduler_publish":{"status":200,"type":"info","message":"No scheduled posts to process currently."},"scheduler_unpublish":{"status":200,"type":"success","message":"Executed query to process posts to be unpublished."}}

Hi Martin Lines ,

Okay, Keep us updated then.

If the cronjob is working fine, can you pass us with your this site FTP access again? Because It seems like you asking for different domain site for support so I'm not sure you provided that FTP account is it associated with your other domain site only.

Hi, the cronjob is working ok as I have tested it.

Manually running the cronjob I can see that I get an HTTP error 500 back from the website.

In the website server I can see
[Thu Jul 09 15:45:05 2015] [error] [client 139.162.197.246] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function isFinalized() on a non-object in /usr/websites/http://www.2499atc.org/public_html/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php on line 1050

which appears everytime the cronjob runs

the cronjob entry is:

/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://www.2499atc.org/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron";

Hey Martin,

The sftp works but I cannot make any changes on the files due to permission issues. I have installed osefileman on the site and applied some fixes in the file /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/twitter/twitter.php and the import seems to be working fine now.

Mark,

Its still not working. The import puts the tweets into the pending queue (instead of publishing) AND retrieves the same tweet again and again (ie. next time the cronjob runs it retrieves them again and again.

Hey Martin,

I can't seem to modify files via the SFTP but I managed to use ExtXplorer. Should be fixed now.
