Hello,

My website was not auto-posting so I went into the backend of my website to revoke my twitter access. When I tried to sign back into Twitter to have auto-posting start again I received the messages below:

Site application key is not configured correctly

Layout twitter_step0 not found

Now I checked my server time and it is synced up correctly. I created a new Twitter access token. I uninstalled and reinstalled EasyBlog but still the same messages when I try to login into Twitter. It has been working fine for weeks and just started to receive the messages today.

Could you take a look and let me know what you find. Thanks.

Regards,
Rob
Hello Rob,

I've tried to access your admin side but I got this: http://screencast.com/t/DCabn80EoE . And also, may I have you Twitter access as well so we can check the issue and set this up for you. Please advise.

Hello,

My apologies as I have implemented a new security system and it seems to be blocking your IP. Could you let me know what the IP is you are coming from and I also included my Twitter info.

Regards,
Rob

Hello Rob,

I am sorry but still we can't access your backend. You are a spammer, hacker or an otherwise bad person. Go away we do not accept your molecular form here. Can you add our IP in white list: 175.143.148.84 .

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Hello Rob,

I am really sorry but we still can't access your backend site. Currently we are redirected back to homepage.
Here is the solution:
Twitter
Please check these setting in your Twitter apps.
1. Read and Write access - You need to select this.
2. Callback URL - You need to enter your site's URL there.
Once you have re-configured the app, head on to the autoposting and try this again. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused, and please give this a try and see if this resolved your issue. If not, please provide us access so that we can assist you on this issue, because we need to debug your site to find the root issue.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Yes I have all those settings in Twitter enabled. I even created a new token and still the same message. I have added your other IP to the whitelist since I noticed 2 different IPs from Malaysia (could you try one more time please)

Hello Rob,

I am sorry but please, could you temporarily disable all security tools so that we can login and debug your site? Sometimes some of us are working from home and our ip address is different. The office ip address is also dynamic and it makes debugging so much harder.

Anyway, please add my ip address 202.188.25.135 to the allowed list as I am unable to access the /administrator/

Could it also be Twitter? I was checking the user stream and it looks like they are having issues.

Hello Rob,

Looks like there's probably some issues retrieving the access tokens from Twitter and I am not really sure why. Looking at their timeline, it does seem like there's some kind of outage but it has already been resolved. Is it possible for you to pass us the FTP access?

See other info. I also have a SSH key so I don't know if you will be able to access. Use sftp:// and the IP I supplied you with.

Hello Rob,

Hm, nope I didn't actually do anything on the site actually. Perhaps there was still some glitches on Twitter earlier?

Hello Mark and thank you for the reply.

It may have been a Twitter glitch. I am still seeing the service disruptions on their API but I am not quite certain what caused the error that I first reported.

When I tried to sign in with Facebook or LinkedIn I got that same message also.

Thanks for your time - I know you are quite busy.

Regards,
Rob
