Hello Support ,
I have easy blog chewed and installed in a Beez 2.0 Template .
Unfortunately there is a graphic bug in the blog. The switch and the search box will not appear in the toolbar. When looking at right now on the above link "SCHLIESSEN" clicks and reloads the page , the button and the search box in the toolbar are displayed. This problem arises, however, only after I have the module " Calendar module " installed in position 6 .
Link to the test page : http://familie-schrader.net/index.php/easyblog#
How can I solve the problem ?
many thanks
With best regards
Holger Schrader
Hello Holger,

It is because Easyblog has changed to responsive mode when you enabled the module on the right. You can see the space for the main component become smaller. Responsive CSS will kick in when the space has decrease below the required width. This responsive is actually used when you view your page using mobile.

Hello Holger,

There's 2 ways for you to address this:

1. You could disable the "responsive" layout in EasyBlog settings under Layout

or

2. You should disable the module on the right so the component area has more width (space) . I would strongly advise you to go with this route.

Hi Mark ,
For my project the calendar module is important. Then I could not live without . In the toolbar me only the search field is important. Is there perhaps a blog search engine that I can install on the calendar module ?
Can not you blog easy to fix so programmed to the problem? Can I make a change in a CSS file?
many thanks
With best regards
Holger

Hello Holger,

I guess you can actually place the module somewhere else on the page rather than disabling it altogether? Perhaps place the calendar module below your left menus (position-5)?

Hi Mark ,
Thank you for your tip . I brought the calendar module in position 5 . But that does not please me .
I have now decided that I have turned off the toolbar , the calendar module installed in position 6, installed Joomla search module in position 6 and the plugin " plg_easyblogsearch_3.9.2_free " .
In the future, but I would like to use the toolbar . Please provide in the next version of the easy blog that I can then use the toolbar.
many thanks
With best regards
Holger

Hello Holger,

Perhaps you could try disabling the "responsive" mode in EasyBlog's settings? You can find it under Settings > Layout
