Hello at StackIdeas,

I have been looking at the EasyDiscuss (v1.3) and it seems it will make our EasyDiscuss integration requirements for EasySocial happen.

Will it also change the profile so we only will have the EasySocial Profile?

I saw the below comment which I can see is after the latest upgrade of EasyDiscuss (v1.3) :

There is a bug in this new app.

When start a new discussion, It cannot choose a sub-category of discussions. Only the top level Category can be chosen. Also, if the chosen category of discussion is a container (supposed not allowed to post discussions on this category), NOT error m...


Is there any fix for the above error - or will it be fixed with the next upgrade and if so when is the next upgrade?

Apart from the above we are ready to buy the EasyDiscuss (v1.3) App.

Hey Finn,

The app enhancements allows you to create a discussion directly from the story form now. I am not really sure what you mean about the "profile" though. Isn't this already possible with the existing version of EasyDiscuss?

Thank you for your follow-up.

We solved the profile issue - it was an Avatar configuration we was missing in EasySocial.

Left before we buy - is than only the comments at the EasyDiscuss App;

There is a bug in this new app.

Hey Finn,

That will be fixed in the next update of the app We're focusing all our strengths on EasySocial 1.4 right now. Once that is done, we'll release a patch for this app.
