The notification concerning being promoted to group admin redirects to back-end

Hello again,
When I promote a user to an admin of a group, a notification appears for that user in the front-end and once they click it, they get redirected to the back-end and not to the group in the front-end. The link in the notification is http://sandbox-2041.wilddog.co.uk/community/notifications/route/7

I've fixed it for you in this file: /components/com_easysocial/controllers/groups.php . Hope this helps.

Hello Michael,

I can't seem to reproduce this but what I did notice is that the link generated is incorrect though. Can you try this, download the attached file and upload it into /components/com_easysocial/controllers/ and see if the problem still persists?

Thank you for the quick response.
Yes unfortunately it persists, that is the URLs are the same (only the last number changes) and it redirects to the back-end.
You can login with the front-end data I provided, check all the past notifications to see that they redirect to the backend.

Thank you Nick, looks like it works.
I have a question. At this point I have 2 or 3 core files customized by the support team to fix various bugs, are those changes going to be included in future releases of ES? So that the bugs don't return when I upgrade.
