The editor is not working properly

Hi,

I've read the discussion regarding the editor issues, and I have upgraded to the latest version of Easyblog. However, I'm still unable to use the tools in the the editor tool bar. For example, the link (and unlink) tool do not work, but there are more not working as well.

I don't know what else I can do. I've switched editor, even using the default EB editor and noting helps. I really could use some help here.

PS: also, I can't hide the blog title and description even though I have selected no to showing it.

I tested in my Google chrome browser and edit your existing blog post in your frontend and backend.

Can you try clear all of your browser, Joomla cache and see how it goes?

That was strange, can you start a new thread instead and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look?

I confirm "link" and "image" buttons don't work in the editor

Edit: Sorry. It's ok. Easyblog wasn't up to date, even if my dashbaord was saying it was...

Hi Arlex,

I have checked my site in 2 different browsers (thinking that might be the problem). In both, the editing toolbox will NOT respond when I select anything, specifically link, unlink or add image. I don't think we are seeing the same thing, because this problem is not solved.
Please check again.

I am having the same problem.

Easyblog 5.0.14. Tried in both Joomla 3.4.1 and 3.4.3. Wanderers template.

The Quick Post works. But on regular new post, you can pick a post template, and enter a title, but cannot add text or do anything else.

I've checked again, it seems like you're using "Altium" theme and the styling file is not get updated, if you change to wireframe theme , everything is working fine.

By right this "Altium" theme shouldn't be included in community version, can you provide us with your FTP access so we can better have a check?

Because latest version composer should be show this different styling now, check my screenshot below.

Again tried and it refused to work.

In fact, it didn't even look like your screenshot.

Then I cleared the browser cache, and presto got the full update. Looks like your screenshot and is working now.

This issue is fixed. However, I've posted a new thread regarding that the Editor is not displaying in Responsive mode.

Arlex,

I've tried again and again, the editor is still not working with Wireframe.
The only Themes that does seem to allow the buttons to work is Bubbles 4.0. So, I now know that the problem is the themes code.
I don't like this theme, I prefer the Altium because it have a larger image at the top of the article.

I have added my FTP info in the hopes that you can make the right changes.

Thank you, but I still can not select a button like edit link and make it work properly. I am unable to add a link of photo using the tool box. The template is wonderful, but the toolbox bar is not "clickable".

Have you tried to edit anything from the front or backend toolbox? Please try.
