Template Override

Hey guys,

I tried many different things but I just cannot find out what is the proper directory structure I need to create in my template in order to override a file.

The file I need to override is:
root/components/com_easydiscuss/themes/simplistic/searchbar.php


I tried the following locations but none of them seem to be correct:

root/templates/my_template/html/com_easydiscuss/themes/simplistic/searchbar.php

root/templates/my_template/html/com_easydiscuss/themes/searchbar.php

root/templates/my_template/html/com_easydiscuss/searchbar.php

root/templates/my_template/html/com_easydiscuss/simplistic/searchbar.php

Hey Ivo,

I just tried in my locally, it should work fine if you store your customization theme file in your current template -> root/templates/my_template/html/com_easydiscuss/searchbar.php , if still can't, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTp access so we can help you check on this?

Before you provide your site access, can you try clear your Joomla cache and browser cache and see how it goes?
