SQL syntax problem

This message appears after creating a group from back end, what this means and how to solve it:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 1 SQL=UPDATE #__social_clusters SET `type` = '1' WHERE `id` IN ()
