Hello;

I cant find settings who are descriped under Layout / All Categories.. in the Doc.
I simply want to create a Site where my onyl 2 Categories are shown like in your Demo and the Pic attached. So i mean it must shows the Category and the first view Posts in the Category. The Post themselves must be shown in my usual Style.

Could you help me out?

tahnks

Michael
Hi Michael,
It seems you do not have your toolbar enabled. If you would like to enable your toolbar, you can head to the 'Toolbar' tab in Settings>Layout>Toolbar and enable the toolbar (refer screenshot). You should also enable the categories icon so you are able to access the Categories page. Hope this helps.

You can change layout settings for the categories page by heading to Settings>Layout>Category. If you mean the css attributes, you have to create the custom.css in this directory and apply the custom css codes in there: JoomlaFolder\templates\yourCurrentTemplate\html\com_easyblog\styles\custom.css

And a general Question. If its possible for a Extra Payment to customize the Blog a bit on our Needs. Mainyl about the Styles. Not for the Functions.?
If you require us to perform any customization for you, you can always request a quote from us at https://crm.stackideas.com and select "Customizations" . Our sales person would be glad to send you a quote for the customizations that you have requested.

and where i can find those settings?
This is actually the settings for the 'Categories' module. First, you would need to create a module with the Categories(All Categories) layout from your backend Extensions>Modules page. Then you can find the settings in the module. However, if you want to adjust the settings for the page https://www.tauchertraum.com/blog/Kategorien.html you can just head to the layout settings like I mentioned above. Hope this helps.

Hey Michael,
Sorry for the confusion. You do have to create a menu item to adjust the settings for the All Categories page.
When you create the new menu item, use "(Categories) All Categories" as the menu item type and use the default categories page link generated: index.php?option=com_easyblog&view=categories
Once you do this, the Categories button in the toolbar will be associated to the menu item.

Hi Michael,
The reason why you were unable to link the menu item to the Category icon in the toolbar is because the icon in the toolbar is linked to the wrong itemid. In Settings>SEO>Advanced>Routing Behavior, I have helped you changed the setting to default, so the icon will be linked to the correct itemid from your menu item now. If the setting is at use specified menu id, the link will always refer to that menu item. This is not good if you want to link to other menu items. Hope this helped you understand and solve the issue.

Hey Michael,
There are no current css files or settings which you can use to edit css styles. If you want to change the styling of EasyBlog and any of its contents, you have to do a custom css override in your template folder so it will be protected from future updates. You have to create this directory: JoomlaFolder\templates\yourCurrentTemplate\html\com_easyblog\styles\custom.css and write your custom css codes into the custom.css file.
You can refer to this guide for info on css customization. Hope this helps.
