So I've been trying to figure this out myself by looking under the Settings - Layouts but I still can't seem to figure this out.

At the top of my blog posts I see things like the user, and the catagory. I really don't want to see them. Also on the left side you will see something just below the date that says "Standard Post". I want to make that disappear too. How do I do this?

Then at the bottom of the post, I would like to take the number of hits off. Can I also remove the tags from being seen?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
Hi Rod,

You should be able to disable most of those (Show Post Category, Show Post Hits, Show Post Tags and Show Post Type Icon) in Easyblog / Settings / Layout / Post Options.

Now if this doesn't work, look at the Post Options for each of your Category as they would override those as well as / or in the Menu item you created to display blog posts as you can override some there as well.

Now about the users name, I'm not really sure!

Hope This help!

As far as I know you can switch off most things in Settings -> Layout -> third tab, don't know the english name of the tab...

For the post-type icon you can use this one in your custom css:

div#fd.eb .eb-post-type .fa {display: none;}

hey Rod,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Regarding the `post author` name, you can disable it from backend > Easyblog > setting > layout > listing > http://screencast.com/t/7v98gVFD (blog frontpage)

And backend > Easyblog > setting > layout > listing > http://screencast.com/t/4f2E9fv1 (blog entry page)

If still can't, perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend access so we can help you check on this?

By the way thanks for your guys sharing

First off to Aikigi and Le Freak....THANK YOU!!! I very much appreciate your trying to assist me with this. Its wonderful when total strangers try and assist you.

Next to Arlex Wong ... you don't have to apologize EVER to me for NOT working a weekend LOL!

But I've believe that I've already tried all of the suggested fixes, and I still can't seem to get this corrected.

So Arlex I am thinking that I want to try the giving you the backend access to you. What is the next step for this to happen??
