Site Slowdown With Komento Installed

I just purchased Komento Professional and have installed it on a staging site on SiteGround. Using Google PageSpeed, I see a 10 point drop in speed rating when I have all Modules and Plugins enabled. I have read a few posts about people uninstalling Komento because of this. I assume this drag on site loading time has not been addressed since those earlier posts. It seems 10 points for a commenting extension is a hefty price to pay. Am I not understanding something here? Does this extension really require that much time to load?
