Here's one I didn't spot during Beta-Testing....

If you go to login with Facebook (for the first time) and if you decide to CANCEL instead of OK when it says "Facebook will share x, y and z with this site"..... then the FB pop-up goes and you get taken to a page on the site you have ES installed on which says:

ERROR: 0 - AN ACTIVE ACCESS TOKEN MUST BE USED TO QUERY INFORMATION ABOUT THE CURRENT USER.
Same issue on my site, using the latest version of ES 1.1.3

Thanks,
James

I also have this error using ES 1.1.3. The files attached in the previous post don't fix the problem.

Thanks,
Darren

Hi mate,

I've run on something similar a week ago.

It end up that Facebook have changed my Admin ID and this was causing the problem on Facebook connect. Serious, check, if you admin ID have been changed.

Kind regards
Kal

Hi Jason,

Looks like a clash with SH404SEF. Fixed by setting to "with .htaccess" in SH404SEF and also enabling SEF Urls with redirect on in global configuration.

Hopefully helpful for other users.

Regards,

Darren

There are some issues that need to be addressed.

For example, I create my website and I used email address: xxxxxx@gmail.com

But, my facebook email is: xxxxxxx@yahoo.com

If you ever associate the Admin Account, or any account for that matter with Facebook and the email address are not the same you get the Parse Error at the Stream because it can't connect to Facebook properly. The only way to fix this (For Now) is to make the user account email and facebook email the same on the site. Additionally you have to go to Facebook and Revoke Access to the App, Logout of the website, then login again using Facebook. Its a pain in the butt, especially when using EasySocial + JFBConnect and trying to figure out what the hell is going on and why.

There needs to be a process to fix/check the email address when hooking into facebook.

Hi,

I tested locally with a user's registered email address of "test@test.com" and linking it to my own personal Facebook account (which contains proper email address), and it seems to be working properly.

When we are linking the account to Facebook, the email address actually doesn't matter as we are authorising through Facebook session, not through email address.

Did you updated the email address for the credentials above? If so, please provide me a credential that can reproduce this error so that I can investigate.
