Following the other thread, I have a similar issue.
Show Introtext is selected in the module configuration, but the text in the module it self starts only after the hr tag which was entered to create the intro. Also if I select full text.
In the mentioned thread above, you wrote that you changed the helper file directly into the user's site.
Mine is still on my local machine and no link can be provided.
Can you direct me with what should be fixed in that file?
Hey Emanuel,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

To add your access, simply edit your first post above or head on to http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site to insert your site access once only.

Hi Mark,
I can't add access yet since it is developed locally, probably for at least another month...

The intro text is picked up in other modules (like in the most popular posts for example). Only in this module it doesn't.

Assuming the getIntro method is taken from one class and is the same all across EasyBlog, this is strange. I couldn't find any problem in the helper file of the module...
In the helper file I tried to change the default from 'entry' to 'intro', but with no results.

Hey Emanuel,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, this is strange as I am unable to reproduce this internally. Perhaps if you could upload the site temporarily to a public location so that I can troubleshoot this?

Hi Mark,
I now put a live test site. All the details are submitted in your form at the dashboard/site.

It seams that all of my problems, including some which were mentioned in other posts, are a result of a missed configuration of a theme. Not sure what I should do different.

Can you please check my theme settings or just guide me through the exact path of which files to copy and which I can modify in order to add or change content ordering in the post output without effecting other modules and features?

The template I'm trying to work with is "recipe" (in the html/com_eashyblog/themes folder) and based on the Vintage and wireframe theme

Thanks,
Emanuel

There is some sort of strange cache on your site. I have already removed all debug codes but the debug codes are still appearing. Can you please request your hosting provider to purge the cache?

I'm not sure what code you are talking about... maybe the modules I pointed to the debug module position?
If so, they are not part of the problem (I had them way before installing a 3rd party extension that uses this location to store a popup modules...)
Anyway, I purged the cache from the the server side...

Thanks!

Hey Emanuel,

What my colleague mean it seems like your server have enabled cloudflare cache, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Can you consult with your webhosting provider to help you temporary disable this cloudflare cache system so that we can troubleshoot on your issue? because when I access in your frontend, it only show the debug code, you can check my attached second screenshot below.

Keep us update once you disable your cloudflare cache system and purge all the cache from your server.

Hello Ariex/Mark,

I disabled the cloudflare feature..

The other screenshot you sent, was of the homepage rendering problem due to something which maybe was done by Mark since it was OK before... I unpulished if for now just so you can see the hompage, but you have to publish it again in order to check it. It is module id104
Please let me know if you can handle it from here or should I upload the site again from my local device.

Thanks!!

Thanks for temporary disabled your server cache system, now I can access your site without any error even enabled back the showcase module.

Can you check your frontpage, that showcase module is it show intro text now?

If you noticed still have issue with it, can you point me which post is not show intro text so I can double check again?

Dear Ariex,
Looks good now!!!
Can you please point me to the fix, so I can replicate it in my full local site (the one you worked on is just for debugging).

Thanks!!

Hi Arlex,
That file didn't solve the problem in my local site...
Tried to clear cache... same issue.

Try download my attached file and install into your local site.

After installed, then go to showcase module setting > save again.
