if I missed this somewhere in the config settings, I apologize, but I'd like to see the Show Password option offered for registration / login. This is a usability issue and is a bigger issue on mobile. Here is a good summary even though the post is a couple of years old now:

Hello Paul,

We didn't include this is because of the security issue. And most of the major sites has not enable this. But we will see if we can include the option in the future release. I've already send this to the developer for them to check. For the time being, you might want to post in our Voices page: http://www.stackideas.com/voices/easysocial .

I understand. Not that this guy knows anything but well before Lukew, Jakob Nielsen summarized the issue:
Usability suffers when users type in passwords and the only feedback they get is a row of bullets. Typically, masking passwords doesn't even increase security, but it does cost you business due to login failures.

and he equates it with the old standard of having a "Reset" button next to the Submit button...

Hi,

Thanks for your input. We are always open for opinions and happy that our user base voice out with improvements.

That said, we cannot afford to break out to do something totally radical out of the blue. Hence as such, we have a platform that lets users chimes in on future features/improvements at stackideas.com/voices

Our development are based on user's voices so it would be helpful if our customers/users voiced out on our voices platform to help shape how future releases looks like.
