Yes, it's fine to display that you are part of a closed group because closed groups are still visible on the groups listing page. However, if you are in an invite only group, it shouldn't list that you are part of that group

The reason is to promote the closed group. If your friends doesn't know that you are part of the closed group, they wouldn't want to bother joining the group too.
