I have absolutely the same issue but with easydiscus like this guy:

http://stackideas.com/forums/backend-not-working

How to fix that?
May i know do you have use any compression tool from your server like Cloudflare?

if don't have, try turn off your 3rd party compression script plugin from backend and see how it goes.

If the issue still persists, It would be best if you can upload your site to live so we can troubleshoot on this easier.

Currently I am not really sure what is the issue yet, it seems like the Cloudflare compression is not doing very well then come out this conflict.

To temporary fix this, you have to access this URL -> http://replacetoyourcurrentdomainname.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&view=settings&layout=system

Set the environment mode to `development` > save.

I should mentioned the Google Racapcha is not working for guest users but the other captcha is working. On the other places (forget password in joomla) Google Racaptcha is working fine

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Regarding these issue, that is not good option If troubleshoot this issue through Teamviewer is because that is really slow for us to debug from the code file in Teamviewer.

However, I did a test in my locally, it seems work fine in my backend and the Google Recaptcha did show on guest user as well.

You can check my video here :
http://screencast.com/t/VVnWS40zis
http://screencast.com/t/5jjRIbX2Woyy

By the way, I would strongly suggest you upload your local site to live so I can able to troubleshoot this issue directly.

The website is live now. You can troubleshoot but I'm troubleshooting for 2 days and i can't find any logical explanation.

What do you think about Cloudflare comment i made?

I stop the Cloudflare for my admin page like that with page rule:

*mywebsite.com/administrator*

But this didn't fix the problem with the menus

How i can fix this?

I am not really sure is it this exception URL is it correct from the Cloudflare, perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend, Cloudflare and FTP access so I can better have a check?

By the way, in the future you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

I took this from CloudFlare documentation:

https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200172316-How-do-I-exclude-a-specific-URL-from-CloudFlare-s-caching-

So i know is the right way. I don't think the menu problem is from Cloudflare

About the captcha i just disable it but this is problem.

OK. So this is how i fix the errors at the back. I switch my Cloudflare to development mode and then switch it back to live mode i refresh the page and now my easydiscuss back menus are working fine.

So the only problem which left is with the captcha

http://prnt.sc/cjiil6

There is something on easydiscuss which is "calling" the old google captcha server

Hey Steve,

OK. So this is how i fix the errors at the back. I switch my Cloudflare to development mode and then switch it back to live mode i refresh the page and now my easydiscuss back menus are working fine.

Based on what I know that development mode only for extra 3 hour, After 3 hours, it will return back to normal mode.

So the only problem which left is with the captcha

http://prnt.sc/cjiil6

There is something on easydiscuss which is "calling" the old google captcha server

I believe that is not related what you mentioned old google captcha server. I would think something load twice Google Recaptcha script on the page.

Try view your page source and search this "http://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js" and see is it loaded twice on the page?

Also can you try this as well and see that Recaptcha is it load correctly? (Try add this &tmpl=component at that page URL behind) e.g. http://site.com/discussion/title&tmpl=component

By the way, I hope you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so I can help you troubleshoot this issue quickly.

Hey Steve,

Is not loading at all... i have only this

I did try in my locally and view page source, it show the script for me, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.
ed.require(["//http://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?onload=recaptchaCallback&render=explicit&hl=en"]);

This is redirecting me to easyduscuss login screen: http://site.com/discussion/login.html

I am not really sure why it redirecting you to login screen yet because I haven't have chance to login in your site and troubleshoot on this.

But it most likely is because guest user unable to view one of the page then it redirecting you to login page.

So everything is very weird? What do you think? Why captcha redirecting me to easydiscuss login page?

So far only your site encounter this issue, I would strongly recommended you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so I can better have a look and see where went wrong.

Do you think this has something to do with the ACL in easydiscuss? You remember we set guest to post in this specific category only?

Hey Steve,

I already checked the code, it will not related ACL section.

Can you try 1 time go to ask question page as guest user, then add this ?tmpl=component behind of the URL e.g. http://xx.com/xxx/ask?tmpl=component and see that Recaptcha is it show out? (Remember open your browser console (right click > inspect element > click on console tab))

I think i found the problem. I'm using Improved AJAX Login and Register which have captcha when you register. So when you click the button Register there is popup window with captcha. I guess this is the conflict. Do you have any idea how to fix that?

I think the conflict is coming from that because both extensions are using the default Joomla recaptcah.

hey Steve,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Can you try disable this `Improved AJAX Login and Register` from backend and see is it work fine?

If yes, perhaps you can attach this installer here so I can try in my locally and see I can find out a better solution with it.

Also if possible guide us how to configure this and show this login on frontpage.

Hey Steve,

I already tried in my locally and global search similar this kind of situation, but unfortunately those solution only apply on when they want to render 2 Recaptcha at the same page and 2 different form.

That is different regarding with your current situation, it render 2 recaptcha at the same page but these 2 recaptcha render from different component, one is Easydiscuss and another one is that login module.

What my suggestion is if the guest user trying to ask question or reply on your site, disable that login module on the page, if you okay with it, i will provide this hack code to you.
