Hi

Thanks for the quick response

We have a easyblog module on this page: http://www.studiomichelle.co.za/ (Easyvlog-Module.png)

This link takes me to the SEO unfriendly link: http://www.studiomichelle.co.za/studio-michelle-blog?view=entry&id=1. How do I correct this Url?

Hello Gavin,

Here I have attached to you a file, please download it and put it in your site here: \25\modules\mod_latestblogs\helper.php . Please backup the original file before overriding it with this file. If this issue is still persist, perhaps you can provide us with backend access and ftp access so that we can help you put the fix in your site.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

I'm having the same issue. The blog is at /blog but the module is kicking out /component/easyblog urls instead. I tried the helper.php file you linked but it didn't change the behavior.

Update, my solution was to just stick this line in the htaccess file just after the RewriteEngine On line:
RewriteRule ^/?component/easyblog/(.*)$ http://domainname/blogmenualias/$1 [R=301,NC,L]

Obviously you have to put your own domain name and blog menu alias/directory item in that code, but it DOES work to redirect to the proper url, though you see it make the switch in the address bar. Hopefully it'll get fixed in the module at some point.
